1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nkpologwu Microfinance Bank Ltd (“the Bank”) website, mobile application, and internet banking services (collectively referred to as “our digital platforms”). By accessing or using our platforms, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our financial products and digital services.

3. Account Registration & Security
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during account creation.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username, password, PIN, OTP, etc.).
  • Notify the Bank immediately at support@nkpologwumfb.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • The Bank will never request your PIN, password, or OTP via email, SMS, or phone call.

4. Use of Digital Banking Services

Our Internet Banking and Mobile App services allow you to:

  • View account balances and transaction history.
  • Transfer funds within and outside the Bank.
  • Pay bills and make purchases.
  • Deposit or withdraw funds via authorized agents or linked accounts.
  • Request loans or savings products.

5. Transactions and Payment Authorization
  • All transactions initiated using your credentials shall be deemed authorized by you.
  • The Bank will not be liable for losses due to unauthorized use of your credentials.
  • Transaction limits and fees follow CBN regulations.
  • Transactions depend on network and regulatory availability.

6. Donations, Subscriptions & Automated Payments

Where applicable, you may authorize recurring payments or donations, which you may cancel at any time through your account settings.

7. Data Privacy and Security

The Bank collects and processes customer information in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the CBN Consumer Protection Framework. All personal and financial data are encrypted and securely stored.

8. Interest Rates, Fees, and Charges

Interest rates and service fees are displayed within the Internet Banking platform or mobile app and are subject to change based on CBN policy guidelines.

9. Liability and Disclaimer
  • The Bank shall not be liable for losses resulting from unauthorized access caused by user negligence.
  • The Bank is not responsible for service interruptions or Internet failures.
  • The Bank’s liability is limited to correcting verified errors in transaction processing.

10. Termination and Suspension

The Bank reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or fail to meet KYC/AML requirements.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, trademarks, and software on our website and app are property of Nkpologwu Microfinance Bank Ltd and cannot be reproduced without written consent.

12. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our platforms may include links to third-party websites or APIs (e.g., payment gateways). The Bank is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate Nigerian courts.
