started as a Community Bank
Nkpologwu Microfinance Bank Ltd has been in business since 1997 during the Community Banking era as Nkpologwu Community Bank Ltd. The Bank was incorporated on the 30th of July 1997 by the Corporate Affairs Commission vide their Certificate of Incorporation NO. RC 257890
Grant of Final Operating License
The Central Bank of Nigeria granted the Bank a final license to continue its Banking operations on the 24th of January 2003 thus making the Bank the 112th Community Bank in Nigeria to be granted a final operating license.
The Bank has carved out a regional market niche by catering to businesses large and small who wish to take advantage of a local bank that offers all of the services that are expected from a larger organization. Since its inception, the organization has a long and proud history of offering free checking to its customers. Caring for our customers' most basic financial needs serves as a daily reminder that we are privileged to have our customers' trust and that we must always put the needs of our customers first.
To ensure that the organization can meet this objective Nkpologwu MFB has partnered with outstanding providers to offer the following services in addition to traditional bank services. As a Member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Nigeria, Nkpologwu Microfinance Bank provides access to SME sources.
